FAQs

Who is WealthVP for?

WealthVP is built for accredited investors and investor-ready companies raising capital. The platform is designed for serious participants in private markets—not casual browsing.

How do investors discover our company?

Investors are matched with companies based on their preferences and activity, and can explore and engage directly on the platform.

In addition, Ian AI Concierge delivers a weekly curated drop of three companies to each investor, along with context on why those companies are a strong fit for their investment style—helping ensure your company is seen by the right investors, not just more investors.

Companies can also proactively reach out to a limited number of investors each week by upgrading their account, allowing for targeted outbound alongside inbound discovery.

How do you verify investors?

WealthVP is designed for accredited investors, and access is managed through a controlled, invite-based network.

During onboarding, investors are required to verify their email and acknowledge accreditation requirements before accessing the platform.

We also use ongoing monitoring and safeguards to help detect and prevent fraudulent or suspicious activity. If anything seems off, users can report it to [email protected], and our team will review and take appropriate action.

What is Investor Readiness?

Investor Readiness is a score based on how complete and prepared your company profile is for investor review.

To be considered investor-ready (95%+), companies must include key materials investors expect upfront, such as:

- A high-quality logo (minimum 500×500)

- A secure website

- Core company details

- Raise information

- A pitch deck

Profiles that meet these requirements are surfaced to investors as ready for evaluation. Adding team members and additional details can bring your profile to 100%.

Can I contact Investors?

Companies can reach out to a limited number of investors each week with an upgraded account (up to 10 per week), allowing for targeted outreach while maintaining a high-quality experience for investors.

How do I cancel my company subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time—there are no long-term contracts or commitments.

To cancel, go to Account Settings → My Subscription, where you’ll be directed to your secure billing portal powered by Stripe. From there, you can manage or cancel your subscription in a few clicks.

Once canceled, your account will move to a free tier, and your company will remain listed on the WealthVP marketplace for investors to review.

If you’d like your account and company profile fully removed, please contact [email protected] and our team will handle it.

What happens after an investor connects with a company?

When an investor engages (such as asking a question), a connection is established—allowing for ongoing communication and introductions within the network.

Is WealthVP a crowdfunding platform?

No. WealthVP is not a crowdfunding platform. It is a curated, relationship-driven network designed for private investing.

How is WealthVP different from other platforms?

WealthVP is not an open marketplace—it’s a curated, relationship-driven network.

Every company is investor-ready, with pitch decks, videos, and key metrics upfront so investors can evaluate quickly.

More importantly, your trusted network builds itself over time. As users connect, invite peers, and engage, WealthVP naturally expands their network—mirroring how real-world investing happens.

Do you take a percentage of investments?

No. WealthVP does not take carry, success fees, or commissions on investments made through the platform.

Can I invite others to the platform?

Yes. Users can invite trusted investors or founders, helping grow a high-quality, invite-based network over time.
